Saturday 15th March Vs Sporting Alfas
The match started well with a good opening spell from opening bowlers Andrew Cross and Richard Smith which saw Smith remove both opening batsmen in the first 3 overs. Winsley then continued to take wickets on a regular interval and Sporting Alfas were eventually bowled out for 148 with Keith Potter the pick of the Bowlers ending up with 3-15 from his 8 overs The winsley reply started badly with opening batsman Brian Fdge clean bowled in the first over (after taking an off stump guard), however Peter Cross soon set about repairing the damage with some impressive slogging, er hitting. His innings eventually closed on 78 when he was run out by Andrew Cross who was getting bored at the other end. Winsley won with several overs to spare with Andrew Cross not out on 43.

Sunday 16th March Vs Sporting Alfas
After winning the toss and electing to field Boon and Rogers took the score to 50 in twelve overs until Andrew Cross restricted the flow of runs with 2 quick wickets. However, this just brought Morgan to the crease who was eventually caught behind from the bowling of David Jenkins for about 80. Sporting Alfas finished their 40 overs on 284-6. Winsley in reply never looked like getting close to the target, especially after Peter Cross was bowled from his very first delivery. However, some quality batting from Nick Swinburne (61 Nout Out) ensured that Winsley ended up on a respectable score of 229-6 , Andrew Cross was 68 Not Out.
