Winsley skipper continued his fine run of form with the toss this year by winning his 7th toss of the
year and then asking Pak Bristolians to have first use of what looked like a slow low track away at
Combe Dingle.
Winsley started well with tight bowling from veteran Peter "Nagger/Yo Yo" Orchard but Spencer leaked runs
at the other end as the Pak openers targeted him for a quick start. Spencer soon had his revenge though
as, after Orchard had the first wicket at the other end, Spencer claimed 2 wickets in an over to peg
Paks right back.

A solid middle order batting display allowed Paks to reach 208-9 after their 45 overs which seemed
about 30 more than it should have been.
Winsley had a solid start with the bat as openers Holton and Spencer putting on 40 for the first
wicket in the first 10 overs. The loss of Holton brought Duffin to the creaese and he continued his
good form with the bat producing a well paced 88 not out to steer Winsley through the mid section of
the match and set themselves with 5 and over required from the last 10 overs.
Winsley were in debted to skipper Ellet who chanced his arm to up the scoring and then Rob Cross
who came in and hit a flurry of boundries to win the match.
Overseas star Terry Duffin was glad to notch up another win "It was really good to have Rob come in at
the end and finish things off quickly as that really took the pressure off. Hopefully we can now go on
and win a few more games."
